In the old quarter of Nizamuddin, New Delhi, Hazrat Inayat Khan’s dargah has been a place of pilgrimage for people of every faith for a century. It is here, in 2027, that the centennial Urs will be observed – the anniversary of the day he completed his earthly life.
Around that observance, New Delhi will host a season of music, dialogue, and gathering, bringing together artists and teachers from India and abroad, and voices from across the world’s religious traditions – in the same spirit of unity Hazrat Inayat Khan’s message carried.
We’re delighted that you will be able to visit the Hope Project which supports communities around the Dargah. They will be creating a special Café with homemade cakes and Chai for the Urs.
