The Inayatiyya is a global organization dedicated to Hazrat Inayat Khan’s Sufi Message — the knowledge of divine unity across all peoples, all religions, and all existence, and a religion of the heart awakened to the beauty in all creation. It represents the Inayati lineage passed directly from Hazrat Inayat Khan to his son, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, and carried today by his grandson, Pir Zia Inayat Khan.

The name itself carries that lineage forward. Inayat is an Arabic word meaning “kindness” or “grace” — in a spiritual context, the compassionate grace of God bestowed upon creation — and is also the given name of Hazrat Inayat Khan himself. Among Sufis, lineages of teaching and practice often take the name of their founder, so those tracing their origin to him are generally known as Inayati lineages, of which the Inayatiyya is one.

The Inayatiyya is a core organiser of the Centennial Urs in 2027.
